Unlike other systems you may be familiar with, Wild Nookie does not manage or monitor communications between members. Our system acts simply as a relay between two members by sending a message directly to your email address. This is the only way people can contact you if they would like to learn more about you, or meet you. Additionally, the email address is used as a one-time-only authorization mechanism to prevent people from gaining access to the system using bogus credentials.
The only way other members will see your email address is if you include it in your description or in a message you send them. We highly recommend against the practice of sending your email address out to people you don't know, simply because some of the people who use Wild Nookie may not have the best intentions.
Currently, the certification process is designed to allow us to validate that a member has represented themselves appropriately in their profile. This is especially valuable for couples who wish to prove that they really are a couple so that others can be more confident when contacting them. As our membership builds, certified members will also be allowed to block their profile from anyone who is not certified.
The area code and zip code are both used during a search so that people can narrow potential matches down to a smaller area. For U.S. Members, the zip code is also used to calculate the distance another member is from you. The area code is especially important for our international members so that they can narrow a search beyond just their country.
If you login to the personals system, there will be a field that shows your current email address setting. Please make sure there are no typos in your email address and click the "Send Authorization" button. Our email system can take a little while to deliver your message, but it should arrive within an hour. If it does not arrive, please check your Junk Mail folder to make sure it didn't get moved there or contact our support team for assistance.
